One Side Coated Well, One Side Not So Good
What Happened?

Notice that the Paxil side of the tablet has appearance problems.
The edge is somewhat eroded. The Paxil is not clear. The coating is rough. Without
speaking with the operators and management, we cannot fully know what the problem is;
but we can make some statements:
1)        If this is a rate controlling layer that is covered by a pink color, the may be the best
we can do. Controlled release tablets are usually printed, so more likely this is a coating
problem.
2)        When combined with a rough coating, the filling of the letters might indicate that the
spray rate is too fast, there isn’t enough atomizing air, or a combination of both factors.
