Simple Things: Placement of The Key |
Optimized placement of the key is frequently taken for granted.
Let the tooling manufacturer take care of it. They are the experts, never mind, I have other more important
things to do today.
Fatal mistake!
When placing your tooling order remember to discuss the type of press you have, the reject mechanism on
that press and the thickness of your tablet. Even slight differences in these critical operating parameters may
result in tablet chipping, lower yields, tablets “jumping” from the rejected table channel to the acceptable
tablet channel.
Remember, nothing just happens in solid dosage manufacturing!
