The Difference Between a Fix and Variable Set of Milling Hammers
Compare the two milling heads. In the photo on the left we see a milling head with fixed blades.
In the photograph to the right we see blades that capable of swinging around. In this picture we
notice that they are fully swept back. Don’t confuse the two. A milling head with fixed blades is
our objective. If you purchase a head that lays back, it may not be suitable for all raw materials
you have to mill.
